with my cutie Alice :)
Girl, you see one of those days when you don't want to do too much but you still want to slay? Exactly!!! It was the Aftican cultural night at the U, and the weather was horrible sighhh 😩😩😩... but hey no weather could ever stop us💁💁. I had to be simple but creative. So I took this long ankara skirt I got in my country, then paired it with a baby suit and some black sandals and this gorgeous clutch I got two days before the event. Pretty straight forward right? Lol now the headscarf was totally a last minute idea ☺️☺️... I took the top of the skirt and made a headscarf out of it. At first, I wasn't confident about how secured it would be, but it turned out fine... You cannot tell right?! I know me too.
I already wore the top for one of my collaborations (here), and to be honest I was not happy with that top cause it was supposed to be a crop top. But the tailor did not really do it properly. At the end of the day, I am happy that I can turn it into something fun 💃💃💃. What do you think guys?
This is how the top looks like :) the full post is here
